Before you attempt to make a batch of this deliciousness, I highly advise investing in a 7×11-inch pan. This recipe works excellent for that size, and pan size does make a difference! The wrong size pan can be one of the reasons for a brownie failure. So choose the right size pan to accommodate the amount of batter you use. Otherwise, you may end up with thin or cake-like brownies. It’s nice that no melting chocolate or butter is required (fewer steps) and you don’t even need an electric mixer for these, a simple whisk works excellent! Scoop some vanilla ice cream over the top for an even more indulgent dessert!
Ingredients for Best Brownie Recipe:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup canola oil
- 2/3 cup Hershey’s unsweetened Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup flour
Directions to make Best Brownie Recipe:
1. Whisk together the sugars and oil in a large bowl. Add the eggs and whisk until blended in.
2. Combine the dry ingredients and whisk into the batter.
3. Pour mixture into a greased 7×11-inch pan and bake for 30-35 minutes in a preheated 350° oven. DO NOT OVERBAKE for fudgy brownies.
