Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce, Taco-bell-Copycat-Recipe

This was one of my first attempts to the Taco Bell’s quesadilla sauce also called “Creamy Jalapeño Sauce”! Within time I created one of the closest COPYCATS to the creamy jalapeño sauce, just like TACO BELL’S

With my first attempts in creating Taco Bell’s Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, I came to this version. However, I wasn’t quite thrilled. I had more ideas on my back burner and was thinking to recreate the recipe sometime later. One day it came to reality and I picked up some of the sauces through a drive thru and decided to play around with the flavors until I got it! I experimented the more to perfect the flavor and couldn’t be more thrilled with the new version! I left this one in my collection since it was one of my first attempts and since some liked this version. However if you want the real deal you need to check out my newer post on the creamy jalapeño sauce!

Use this sauce to make Taco Bell’s chicken quesadillas and make things even more homemade by making Grilled & Ready to use Chicken Breast Strips.

how did you feel it tasted in comparison….i’m currently a hardcore Taco Bell addict (first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem) and the quesadilla is the only thing i crave…but it’s the sauce…i can save myself a lot of monies if i made it myself…but only if it tastes pretty similar!

This recipe could use some more tweaks but I couldn’t get it to taste identical. I have thought about some alternations to make this work better and tested this recipe out using some shortcuts, so perhaps I’ll come up with something far closer but in the meantime this is what I have…

How long could this be stored in the fridge?

      • Alyona’s Cooking

Perhaps as long as your sour cream expires. You could always try to freeze some and maybe whip it up before serving…

What flavor of vinegar did you use?

      • Alyona’s Cooking

      Regular distilled

1/2 what of sour cream? And a tablespoon of paprika? That’s a lot. Just making sure.

It would be 1/2 a cup of sour cream, thanks for mentioning that. I do have 1 tbsp of paprika listed in the recipe but feel free to adjust the amount to you’re liking (make sure it’s NOT smoked flavor paprika.)

Thanks! I did do half a cup of sour cream and a full tbsp of paprika. My husband loved it!
