Adopted from the Best Ever Banana Bread Recipe, this SUPER MOIST and yummy bread recipe can be made with a stir of a spoon. No mixer needed.
Alyona's Cooking:
Serves: 1 loaf
  • 3 very ripe banana's, mashed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ⅓ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (opt*)
  • ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon (opt*)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (opt*)
  1. Grease a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mash bananas in a medium bowl. Stir in the eggs, buttermilk, oil and vanilla; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl whisk together the sugars, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir in the wet banana mixture.
  4. Fold in the nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool in pan then remove.
