Lazy Skillet Stuffed Shells
These lazy skillet stuffed shells are like the stuffed shells only "unstuffed," which is where it gets the lazy title. A fast dinner (literally can be done under 20 minutes) and kid friendly!
Lazy Skillet Stuffed Shells:
How to make unstuffed skillet shells:
Cook pasta according to the package instructions; drain.
Mix together the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese and egg; set aside.
In an oven safe skillet or baking dish place 1 cup of pasta sauce onto the bottom and top with pasta.
Then make a few dollops from the remaining 1/4 cup of sauce and dollop the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with provolone cheese (I cut mine out with a kiddie cup to match the dollops) and broil under low heat until cheeses melt and heated through (about 10 minutes.)
