Mushroom Gravy Recipe
You may just want to add this Creamy Mushroom Gravy to your Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner, it's one flavorful gravy! And if you get any left overs you can easily FREEZE this.
1 lb mushrooms washed and diced
1 carrot shredded
1 onion diced
1/2 cup flour
2 TBSP better than bullion beef flavor
8 cups water
1 10.5 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Fry carrot, mushrooms and onion over medium heat in 5-8 tbsps of oil for 15-20 minutes.
Add the flour and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add in the beef bullion and water and bring to a boil.
Stir in the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper.
Simmer uncovered for 15-25 minutes. Serve.
Cool any leftovers before freezing.
