Ingredients

Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix:

  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1/3 cup cumin
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/4 cup onion powder
  • 3 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

How to Make Homemade Taco Seasoning:

    Combine all the spices together and whisk well. Transfer to an airtight container and keep stored with all your other spices.

Notes

Note: Recipe makes approx 3 cups of mix. Using 1/4 cup of seasoning mix is equivalent to one store packet. Each packet can serve 6. 
Add 3/4 cup of water when frying beef or chicken for extra moisture.
