Notes
To reheat burgers- take the veggies off and heat patty with bread for 30 seconds. Add the veggies back on and serve. To freeze burger patties: make a double batch and form into 16 (5-inch) flattened patties. Layer between parchment paper and flash freeze on a tray before transferring it into freezer bags. Keep frozen up to 3 months. To grill frozen patties: cook frozen patties as directed. It makes no difference frozen or fresh burgers grill the same if they are the same thickness. Make-ahead- if you have leftover burgers and don't want to go through the hassle of making them later, prepare them ahead of time. Omit the burger sauces (mayo and ketchup) or only add them to the top part of the bun. Layer as directed to prevent soggy buns. Reheat as directed for a quick lunch.
