Bread Dipping Oil, is a dipping sauce made of extra virgin olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and fresh garlic. You can use this dipping oil for bread, as cooking oil, in a chicken marinade, brushed over pizza crust, or Naan bread, and it keeps well! This olive oil bread dip is rich in savory flavor and pungent garlic! It's an olive oil dip recipe with many purposes.
Measure 1 cup of olive oil and transfer it to a food storage container (preferably with a lid).
Add all the spices and garlic and mix well.
Keep the spices and garlic submerged in oil and store shut with an air-tight lid. When using, give it a good stir for the sediments to blend in.
Use as oil for dipping bread, cooking oil, or marinating.
Notes
This Bread Dipping Oil: can last up to 3 months as long as the spices are submerged in oil. It makes a fantastic pizza crust sauce, or brush the base of the crust before adding the tomato sauce for good flavor.
