Alyona Demyanchuk

Alyona graduated from the Culinary Institute of America as a Pro Chef and has over 15 years of cooking experience. With a professional cooking certificate and years cooking for crowds and her family, she has mastered running an efficient kitchen through careful cleaning, planning, shopping, and cooking.

Alyona is the sole recipe developer for Alyona’s Cooking, and has over 10 years of experience in food writing, food photography, and recipe development. She shares a variety of recipes, from her native Ukrainian cuisine to the American dishes she grew up with in the United States. Alyona has catered weddings and gatherings, and her creations have even been featured on restaurant menus.

Her recipes reflect her mom-life, homesteading journey, and the demands of running a full-time business. Using simple techniques, she makes from-scratch meals for her family of eight both possible and stress-free. Every recipe she shares has been personally tested, perfected, and enjoyed around her own table.

Founded in 2015, Alyona’s Cooking began as a simple food blog and has grown into a trusted source for home cooks.

Alyona lives on a farm with her large family in the Palmetto State. They enjoy hosting on weekend, and embrace slower living—often enjoying a cup of tea together on their front porch overlooking their fields of pasture.
