This homemade Hawaiian pizza is made over a buttery thin crust pizza dough and even if you're not a pineapple pizza fan this pizza dough recipe is one to try!
2 1/2cupsshredded cheese, I like a mixture of Velveeta Mozzarella shreds and part-skim shredded mozzarella
15thinly sliced black forest ham slices, chopped
4slicesof cooked bacon, chopped
1/220oz can of crushed pineapple chunks, drained
Instructions
In a large measuring cup combine the warm water, sugar and yeast and allow to poof 5 minutes.
Stir together the salt, garlic powder and flour in a large bowl. Shred (or cut) the butter into the flour and stir in the yeast mixture. Form dough and knead for 4 minutes. Let dough rest in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces to make 3 medium sized pizza's or leave whole to make one XL pizza. Roll pieces out to 12" circles or roll out one XL large pizza. Place into well greased baking pans; top with toppings in the order given and bake at 500° F for 8-10 minutes.
NOTE: If making 3 medium pizzas, evenly divide the toppings onto all three pizzas.
