This Chipotle Guacamole Recipe is loaded with creamy avocado, fresh cilantro, jalapeno, lemon, lime, purple onion, and salt just like Chipotle guacamole from the restaurant! It's easy and tastes just like the real side! Serve homemade guacamole with tortilla chips or over your favorite Mexican food! I share all the tips to preserve guacamole like a pro and most of all make the authentic guacamole recipe like the Mexican grill.
In a medium bowl, coarsely mash the avocados with salt, and citrus juices using a potato masher or fork.
Finely dice the onion, jalapeno pepper, and cilantro. Add to the avocados.
Mix together using a rubber spatula.
Serve or store in the fridge with plastic wrap pressed against the surface.
Notes
To freeze: mash the avocados with salt and citrus juices. Transfer to a freezer bag and remove any excess air. Freeze for up to 4 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before adding the remaining ingredients.
