Tuna Melts Ingredients:
10ozcanned tuna, (2 small cans)
1tomato, diced
1/4cuponions, diced
1/3cupmayo
1 1/2cupsgrated Colby Jack cheese, divided
1/2French baguette, sliced
Instructions
How to Make Easy Tuna Melts:
Pre-heat oven 400°F. Arrange baguette slices over a sheet pan. Set aside.
Mix all the filling ingredients reserving 1/2 cup of cheese for the tops.
Spread mixture over slices and bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes or until toasted and cheesy.
Notes
can use left over turkey, cooked chicken, canned chicken or grilled chicken in place of tuna.
Mozzarella or other cheese blends can be used.
