Ham and Cheese Sliders with homemade fluffy sweet bread, salty ham, and melted gooey cheese all baked in a buttery, poppy seed mustard glaze! This ham and cheese sliders recipe is a hit at any gathering! You will love the sweet and sticky sauce over these hot sliders, it's so EASY for a quick meal or party!
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Bring to a boil and cook over high for 2 minutes. Boiling the sauce will thicken the glaze.
Place the bottom of the buns into a 9x13 baking dish. Add 2 slices of thinly sliced ham to each bottom bun.
Then top with half a slice of Havarti cheese (folded in half.)
Put the tops on and pour the hot poppy seed sauce evenly over the buns.
Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Notes
Dinner Rolls** are slightly smaller than hamburger buns, if using hamburger buns use a full slice of cheese and 2-3 slices of deli ham per sandwich. The sauce does not need to be doubled.
