What is Zax Sauce?
If you’ve ever been to the Southern franchise, you’ll know that Zax Sauce is the signature dipping sauce served at the fast-food Zaxby’s Restaurant for chicken wings, fries, and chicken sandwiches over Texas toast.
It’s moderately kickin’ with black pepper and zesty flavors, making it the perfect sauce for anything fried chicken! It usually comes in a packet when ordering their chicken fingers orders, but it can be requested for anything off the menu! It goes really well with Crispy Boneless Chicken Wings.
What Does Zax Sauce Taste Like?
Zax sauce is not intense or too spicy. It has a peppery flavor with a good kick and a zesty after-tang. If you prefer it even more milder, just half the cayenne pepper. Although Zax sauce has a similar color to Thousand Island, it is not the same. Zaxby’s sauce is bold and tangy, whereas Thousand Island is sweet and pickled-tasting.
Zax Sauce Ingredients
