I love sweets but keep desserts simple. My go-to dessert recipes are bars and cookies, they’re easy and make dozens. When fruits are in season I like to can pie fillings to make pies and cobbler desserts. Occasionally, I will make more exotic desserts like Ukrainian pastries, crepes, cakes, and macarons. However, as everyday sweets energy peanut butter balls and cake rolls come to the rescue. We also enjoy homemade ice cream on hot summer days.
