Beverages are essential! We mostly drink water but can’t resist homemade Grape Juice, Iced Tea, and cold and refreshing Fruit Juices. Smoothies are also becoming a regular at our house because once you get milk kefir grains going you need to get creative. Hot tea is something we drink everyday at our Eastern European cuisine, for that I’ll simply throw a handful of dried raspberry leaves from our garden into a French press and steep with a pinch of dried elderberries. There’s also nothing better than a glass of cold milk to warm cinnamon rolls or chocolate chip cookies.
