Eastern European Recipes

Eastern European foods are hearty and so diverse! My favorite Eastern European recipes are Homemade Polish Pierogies, Moldovan Cabbage Rolls, Russian Shashlik, and Ukrainian sponge cakes and Borscht. Placinte are also popular Romanian fry bread stuffed with cheese (a family-favorite)!

You don’t have to be Eastern European to eat ingredients like potatoes, cabbage, dill, and paprika! All of these ingredients are easily available in the United States and make delicious comforting meals!
