Turkey Recipes

I have yet to grow my turkey recipes! Turkey is mainly a Holiday treat for us. Almost every Thanksgiving and Christmas it’s become a tradition to roast the whole bird. Then the meat gets pulled off and leftovers go into gravies, soups, sandwiches, and rice if you wish! Our all-time favorite way to use up leftover turkey is in these turkey melts (so delicious)!

Sometimes, our friends go turkey hunting on our land in the spring, it’s good to stock up on wild game and turkey when the season permits. Game birds are as natural as they get! I have yet, to share my father-in-laws roasted turkey recipe. He makes the best Turkey for thanksgiving, with lots of finely grated onion (spoiler alert, it’s a great meat tenderizer) and fresh garlic. I’m telling you it smells like kielbasa, yum!
