This EASY volcano cake is tastier than it appears! Called Curly Ivan Torte in Russian this cake is domed like a volcano shape from moist vanilla and chocolate pieces of cake!

It’s one of my mothers favorite cakes and almost anyone that tries it comments on it. There is no art skills needed to bring this cake together. Assembling is super EASY since the cake pieces get tossed in the cream and mounted into a dome. Now, there is a reason for the dome, those little cake bits are supposed to soak up that cream and get even softer! Dig in with forks if you please but stopping at one slice is harder than you may think–because it’s DELICIOUS!
