These Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp are so easy to prepare and taste incredibly delicious!

I was inspired to recreate this dish after trying Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp at my husbands Christmas work party in a fancy restaurant. They happened to serve this with baby potatoes as the main course and I was so intrigued by the appearance and taste… My mother and sister who were over when I first tried attempting these shrimp, sure did approve that it’s tasty. I misread the directions. So I went ahead and made the stuffing 1st and then added the mayo and seasoning in the recipe. Also, I thought it might need to be more fishy. So, when I made the stuffing, I drained the juice from a can of minced clams and a can of lump crabmeat. Then I made up the rest of the liquid with chardenay. I cooked the stuffing in the microwave and then mixed in the mayo and seasoning. Then I followed the rest of the recipe. HUGE HIT!!! This recipes automatically went to the family favorites page. Bcan’t wait to make it again. PS-I just served it with corn on the cob. Yum!!!

I never thought of using chicken stuffing mix. I always used crab meat and Ritz crackers with butter. Yours is a Great idea 🙂

Can you use already cook or should they be raw. And any kind of tasty stuffing.

Hi Debbie this recipe works best with raw shrimp since it’s slit and cooked to hold the stuffing. I could imagine already cooked shrimp could be harder to work with here.
